The 8th annual congress of the Italian Society for Evolutionary Biology (ISEB) has been held in Padova between the 1st and the 4th of September, 2019.
This event, organised by the Department of Biology of the Univeristy of Padua, has seen the participation of various scientists, italian and international.
Our lab team took part in this event with the presentation of three posters, showcasing the research currently ongoing in our group:
Solving a morphological dilemma with genetic tools: species identification and population genetics of the Antarctic fish Lepidonotothen spp. in the Scotia Arc and Bouvet Island
In cold (white) blood: speciation, introgression and hybridization in Antarctic icefish
Improving the knowledge of the Antarctic toothfish population genetic structure and life cycle to foster its conservation
The team looks forward to future participations in other congresses.
